Move in Day, 2023

$300.00
sold out

2023

6 x 6 x 1 inches

1:12 scale miniature

Paper, found objects, plastic on board

Part of “Trash Series”

Fascinated by maximalism and the accumulation of objects, Kelly uses trash to examine object journeys. Originally a series of thirty works, each panel conveys a narrative through miniature trash bags and boxes. The abandoned items offer a nuanced look into the individuals who discarded them, communicating both the end of something and a new beginning. While the word "trash" often carries negative connotations, Kelly sees the beauty in thrown-away things.

Each artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
