Although these material goods make headlines across the United States, it is only a devastating distraction from the reality of dwindling forests lost to pollution, wildfires, and deforestation. Having nature as the backdrop behind this wall of untouchable items is symbolic of humanity’s lack of appreciation and respect for nature.
